A base band with vulcanized corrugated sidewalls and T/TC-type cleats, built to carry bulk material at large incline and near-vertical angles with zero spillage and no intermediate transfer points — sidewall heights up to 500mm, base widths from 300mm to 1400mm and beyond.
Three parts, one continuous incline
A corrugated sidewall belt is built from a base band, a corrugated retaining sidewall, and a diaphragm (cleat). The sidewall keeps material from sliding or spilling off the edges, and its corrugated profile lets it flex smoothly around the head and tail drums instead of cracking the way a straight rigid wall would. The diaphragm sits between the sidewalls and physically supports the load, which is what makes large-angle — even near-vertical — conveying possible using the T or TC cleat profile. Sidewall and diaphragm are joined to the base band by secondary vulcanization for high bond strength, so the assembly runs as a single belt rather than a mechanically fastened add-on. For higher-load applications, sidewalls and cleats can be reinforced with diagonal fabric (our standard is XE-layer reinforcement), or with a metal breaker for cross-direction rigidity where the specification calls for it.- ConstructionBase band + sidewall + diaphragm

What's the difference between T-type and TC-type cleats?
Both are diaphragm profiles that support the load between sidewalls; TC-type is the taller, more rigid profile typically specified for steeper angles or heavier lump material, while T-type suits lighter-duty and lower-angle runs.
When do I need metal breaker reinforcement instead of XE-layer fabric?
XE-layer diagonal fabric reinforcement is our standard and covers most sidewall/cleat loads. Metal breaker is specified where cross-direction rigidity under heavy or sharp lump impact is a concern — tell us your material and load and we'll confirm which is appropriate.
How do I choose base belt width versus sidewall height?
Base belt width is set by your required throughput and existing pulley/frame width; sidewall height is set by incline angle and cross-sectional load. Use the parameter table as a starting shortlist, then we size the exact combination against your incline and tonnage.
Can sidewall height exceed 500mm for very high-capacity lines?
